[Features of this OMAMORI] Made in Japan
  1. The high-resolution pictures are printed clearly under the supervision of Keisuke Tejima, a Kyoto One Stroke Dragon artist, by applying plate-making technologies for faithful reproductions that are as close to the original pictures as possible. 
  2. The name of each dragon is written under the One Stroke Dragon.
  3. Use of luxury paper that is thick (approx. 2-mm thick) and textured.
  4. Lucky gilt edge finish (lateral sides).
  5. The name “Touji-ji Temple of Koyasan Shingon Sect.” or “Kyoto One Stroke Dragon” is printed in kanji on the surface using gold foil or black foil (for gold/white gold paper).
  6. Convenient accessories (transparent protective case and string for tying).

Why paper?
  • Gold-brocaded satin damask (cloth) is not used because this woven material does not permit reproduction of the details of the dragon.
  • To enable the OMAMORI to return to the soil after otakiage (burning), we avoid the use of incombustible material.
『 Caution』
The OMAMORI is carefully finished so that the edges of the paper (cut edges) will not be sharp. However, due to the properties of the paper, it may injure your hand or finger.

[Details of the renewal (Made on April 25, 2020)]
  • The name was changed from Take-along OMAMORI (made of luxury paper) to Take-along Paper OMAMORI as a Buddhist Amulet
  • The paper is twice as thick (changed from approx. 1 mm to approx. 2 mm).
  • The edges (cut edges) of the paper are decorated with gold foil.
  • The surface colors of the paper (gold/black/red) were changed to gold/white gold/black, which are shinier and have a better texture.
  • Embossed printing of the words (OMAMORI/Kyoto One Stroke Dragon) in kanji is added.
  • The Marriage Tie Twin Dragon, is added as a new option for One Stroke Dragon.*
  • The printing quality is improved to better express the shiny quality and texture of the One Stroke Dragon.*
  • The name of each One Stroke Dragon is added to each picture.
  • The color of the string for tying is changed from white to purple.
  • Specifications for the outer bag are changed.
